Because RBridge RB does not have any edge port configuration for VLAN 10, the frame is not decapsulated for learning.

The frame is checked for a valid TTL field, and the TTL is decremented before the frame is forwarded out of the tree.

A lookup is done in the forwarding table for the dotted tree to derive the list of outgoing interfaces. The forwarding table in RBridge RB is shown in Figure 5-22.

The outgoing interfaces selected will be the links connecting to RBridges RA, RD, and RE.
